Seychelles

Visiting the Seychelles is a privilege. On the group of islands in the Indian Ocean, paradise-like conditions prevail in several ways. Besides the climate and nature, there are also social aspects that speak for the Seychelles. Hardly anywhere else in the world do different ethnic groups and religions live together so peacefully and uncomplicatedly.

When I was there in 2019, there were almost no cars on La Digue, one of the three main islands. You don’t really need them on this small island, as everything can be reached on foot or by bicycle. Giant tortoises were still roaming the streets undisturbed. Unfortunately, it became apparent that it would probably not stay that way. Let’s hope for the best.
