For many years I have dreamed of this mystical city. And not only because of a well-known board game of the same name. And in September 2021, the time had finally come. In a gap in time during the Corona pandemic, when travelling was temporarily possible again, we cycled along the Canal du midi for several days and finally arrived in Carcassonne, where we stayed for several days in a beautiful hotel overlooking the medieval fortified city.
