Vienna is a lovely city where it is certainly good to live. It is big, but not too big. Pompous former capital of an empire and at the same time haven of a cosy coffee house culture. It is museum-like and modern, metropolitan and provincial, glamorous and trivial. My great-grandfather came from Vienna and I too could well imagine living here.
