Sometimes you can’t see the forest for the trees. For some time now, I have been travelling around the country to visit and photograph interesting abandoned places. Only recently did I realise that I have been living next to a real ghost house for very many years, can see it from my terrace, but have never recognised it as such. Now that I became aware of this, I immediately approached my neighbour, who I know well and who owns this house, and got his permission to walk around the house and take photographs.

Unfortunately, a mishap happened to me in the middle of it. The ball head of my tripod came loose and the camera crashed to the floor. Unfortunately, the lens did not survive the fall. The ghosts of the house probably didn’t want anyone to enter their realm. But I will be back.

Here are a few pictures that were taken up to that point.
