Former Pulmonary Sanatoriums

The pulmonary sanatoriums, built around 1900, form one of the largest hospital complexes in the Berlin area. The listed ensemble comprises 60 buildings on an area of around 200 hectares. Attracted by the beautiful, villa-like architecture and the magnificent ambience of the old walls, you can still witness a glorious time at this lost place. Massive staircases with huge columns, endless corridors and light-flooded halls offer picture-perfect motifs. This mixture of unusual architecture and decay makes the Heilstätten an attractive setting.
