I have often been to Ray’s concerts. He became the lead singer of Genesis after Phil Collins left in 1996. Together with the two remaining Genesis band members Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks, they recorded the album Calling All Stations, whose title song is one of my favourite rock songs. However, the album was not very successful, so the Genesis project was buried. Since 2001 Ray Wilson has been active with his band and gives an incredible number of concerts. This one took place in the neo-Gothic Peterskirche in Leipzig at a time when the pandemic allowed a short breather.
